4.Eastern PA Continuum of Care (CoC)

A CoC is a regional or local planning body
that coordinates housing and services funding
for homeless families and individuals. The
Eastern PA CoC encompasses 33 counties,
including Cumberland County.

2.Coordinated Entry (CE)

CE is a process that coordinates access, assessment, prioritization, and referrals to
housing and services for people experiencing homelessness through the Homeless
Management Information System (HMIS). Access sites in Cumberland County are
211 (www.pa211.org) and Community CARES (www.morethanshelter.org).
