April is National Apartment Housing Month. This month celebrates the rental housing industry’s contributions to communities from career opportunities in leasing and property management to trillions of dollars contributed to our economy each year.
Apartments and their residents contribute $4.0 trillion to the U.S. economy annually, supporting 20.3 million jobs in construction, operations, leasing, management and skilled trades along with all the local businesses supported by apartments and their residents.
